I.B.Tauris wants you
We want to collaborate with talented writers, academics, authors, journalists, students, bloggers, photographers and artists that can contribute regular articles or one-off guest pieces. Our blog is open to anybody who has something interesting to say in the world of visual culture, politics, history, sport, religion and current affairs.
What should I write about?
It’s entirely up to you, as long as it is engages with the world we live in, past or present. We have a global outlook, and we want the blog to reflect this. The subject, the country, the region, the continent, the era does not matter a jot. All we ask is that articles be at least 700 words, but no more than 2000.
Will I get paid?
I.B.Tauris cannot pay for any work received. However, it is a great chance to get your work noticed. We’ll link your site, blog, book or twitter on anything published, and you never know, you may get noticed by our editorial team, who are always on the lookout for new authors.
What do I do next?
Send us an article, even if it has been published elsewhere, and we’ll get back to you. Email me, Thomas Abbs, the blog’s editor at tabbs@ibtauris.com.
Unfortunately, we cannot promise to publish everything we receive, but if you’d like the opportunity to feature alongside Dinah Roe, Stephen F. Cohen, Ralph Waldo Emerson, Rory MacLean, Nina Edwards, Rachael McLennan, Tom Smith, Rich McCulloch, Susan Best, Ben Zweig, Nathan Abrams and many other I.B.Taurists, then please do get in touch.
This is your space, as well as ours.
