In the AMC drama series Breaking Bad she played the role of Skyler White, the wife of the protagonist of the series Walter White played by Bryan Cranston.

Is Anna Gunn Related To James Gunn?
Anna Gunn is not related to James Gunn. It was confirmed by both of them in several separate interviews.
James also posted about this topic back in December of 2014 on Facebook. His post states, ” Why do people always ask if I’m related to Anna Gunn but almost never if I’m related to Tim Gunn?”
“It’s not like she’s incredibly more famous than he is, so the disparity confuses me.”
He clarifies the situation by further adding, “By the way, I’m related to neither. They are, like most Gunns, most likely of Scottish descent. I’m Irish (my great-grandparents changed their last name when they came to the U.S.)”
This information clearly shows that James and Anna are not related in any form except for the fact that they share a common last name.
James’s doubt about her descent was later proven false as many sources do claim that Anna is of Polish, Slovak, English, German and distant Irish and Dutch descent.

Anna Gunn’s Relationship And Family
Anna Gunn married Scottish actor and real estate broker Alastair Duncan in 1990. But the couple later separated via divorce in 2009.
Together they have two daughters named Eila Rose and Emma.
Anna’s father’s name is Clemens Earl Gunn, Jr who used to work in Real Estate. Her mother’s name is Sharon Anna Kathryn Gunn and she was an Interior Designer.
There are no details about her brother or sisters so many sources believe she has no siblings.
As a child, she moved with her parents to New Mexico, where she completed her basic-level studies including some acting lessons. She graduated from school in 1986.
