Wendy Williams was born July 18, 1964, and is an American former broadcaster, media personality, and writer.

As a result of these health issues, her eyes have increased in size and exhibit a bulging appearance.
On her talk show, The Wendy Williams Show, she candidly addressed her eye condition. She revealed that her thyroid had been ātotally cattywampus,ā leading to the noticeable eye change.
Wendy emphasized that her hyperthyroidism is connected to Gravesā disease, which affects the muscles behind the eyeballs. This squeezing effect causes the eyes to bulge.
She shared her perspective during an interview: āI love doing the show, but I love me more. So, Iām going to take care of me so that I can be there for them.ā

Interestingly, hypothyroidism (underactive thyroid) has also been linked to an increased risk of dementia.
Older individuals with hypothyroidism may face an 80% higher risk of developing dementia compared to those without thyroid problems.
This risk is even higher for individuals who require thyroid hormone replacement medication.
The treatment methods include Radioactive iodine therapy, beta-blockers, Anti-thyroid medications, and Thyroidectomy (surgery).
